What is the difference between a gift box and a filled gift set?

A gift box is packaging only. A filled gift set includes the gift box and the mooncakes shown in the listing. Choose the filled gift-set listing if you want mooncakes inside.

What is included in a filled gift set?

Each set includes the gift box and the mooncakes named in its current listing. Extras vary. Do not assume a lantern, LED light, carrier bag or greeting card is included unless the listing says so.

How many mooncakes are in a filled gift set?

Set sizes vary. The current listing is the final guide for the number of mooncakes, flavours, price, packaging and extras.

Can I mix and match flavours?

Selected sets allow you to choose flavours. If no flavour choice appears on the listing, contact us before ordering.

Should I choose 90g or 185g mooncakes for a gift?

90 g minis suit smaller portions or more flavour variety. 185 g traditional baked mooncakes suit a fuller portion or sharing. Shanghai products are also 185 g and follow the Modern Shortcrust (Malaysian/Southeast Asian) style.

Are the mooncakes in a filled gift set Halal-certified?

Traditional baked mooncakes carry the Halal certification label on the packaging or current product photo. Shanghai mooncakes without "Handmade" in the name are also halal certified. Handmade Shanghai mooncakes use Halal ingredients but are not halal certified. If certification is required, check the exact product name and current label. Check the product label for ingredient details before ordering.

Can I send gift sets to several recipients with different messages?

Yes. Provide a recipient name and contactable phone number for each address. We can write or print different greeting messages, including Chinese. Printed cards need at least two days' lead time.

Do you deliver gift sets or offer self-collection?

Delivery starts at RM9 per address in Klang Valley and RM15 per set in West Malaysia; larger gift boxes cost more and the exact fee appears at checkout. Ask us about East Malaysia or Singapore. Free self-collection is available from YuBake Coffee or Kuchai Lama daily from 12pm to 6pm.

How should I store a filled gift set?

Keep traditional baked mooncakes cool and dry, away from direct heat. Shanghai mooncakes should go in the chiller if they will not be eaten within a few days and should be eaten within about seven days of receiving them. The printed date on the packaging is the final guide.

What happens if a flavour or set sells out after I order?

Gift sets are sold while stock lasts. Made-to-order items need two days' notice. If something becomes unavailable after you order, we will offer an alternative or a full refund, and you can choose which works for you.

For mooncake delivery in Malaysia, YuBake offers car delivery in selected Kuala Lumpur, Selangor and Klang Valley postcodes, plus courier delivery throughout West Malaysia. Self-pickup is also available at YuBake Coffee Kuchai Lama. Delivery fees and available dates depend on the postcode, product and slot, so check the details below before you confirm your mooncake order.

Courier to West Malaysia

YuBake delivers mooncakes throughout West Malaysia by courier. Courier delivery starts from RM15 per set, with the final fee and date depending on your postcode and route.

Ask early for a fixed date

Festive slots open in stages. For same-day, next-day or a firm mooncake delivery date, WhatsApp the team early so they can confirm what is possible for your product and route.
